Chambray is so versatile and can be styled in many different ways to suit anyone during any season. They are comfortable, soft and lightweight, plus denim and Chambray are right on trend for the summer months. The fabulous thing is, this can actually be worn all year-round if styled in the right way.

Chambray is a brilliant lightweight alternative to denim. The two fabrics are very similar in construction with the coloured yarn in the warp and the white yarn in the weft, however denim is a twill and chambray is a plain weave. Chambray is softer and lighter weight than denim, it has drape and more movement.

We are offering three relaxed separates that you can mix and match together or with your own garments and accessories. The relaxed and easy shapes of our blouse, dress and skirt are perfect to wear for the warmer weather or alternatively can be used to layer for cooler days.

This year we are offering an updated version of our chambray blouse, which now features floral beaded detail. The blouse can be worn both buttoned up or used as an over-shirt for wear over a jersey top. The contrasting top stitching is a great styling detail and there is also the option of using the tabs on the arms if you want your sleeves turned up on a warm day, or down giving you a ¾ sleeve.

The A-line four panel, pull-on skirt drapes beautifully and its lightweight nature makes it comfortable to move in and gives it great movement. The contrasting stitching brings your eye down and gives the impression of elongating your silhouette. This is a great piece to wear with either jersey or a blouse.

The dress has a relaxed easy-fit shape and button-through front. The front has contrast stitched pintuck detail, bust dart shaping, patch pockets and finishes with a curved hem with side slits. The short sleeves have rolled cuffs with a tab fastening. As with most of our chambray pieces, the vertical top stitching is flattering and helps to elongate your figure.

Caring for your chambray
To keep your chambray looking its best, wash your garments on a cool setting. Please be aware that our chambray blouse will need to be hand washed due to the detailing on the front.  To insure your chambray does not loose shape, hang dry your items or dry on a clotheshorse. Iron on a low heat and for the blouse iron inside out to avoiding damaging the detailing.
